2026 Advent Market Celebration
The staff of St. John the Evangelist Parish and School, Nov. 22, 2025.
We are so excited about our Advent Market Celebration on Nov. 21, 2026! This is our 6th year and each year just gets better and better!
Starting at 11a.m. you and your family will enjoy great food from our Food Truck vendors, shop dozens of handmade crafters and artists, and religious items. Vendors will be on Larsen Field and in the School Auditorium.
Inside the Auditorium, if your family pre-ordered an Advent Wreath kit or a fully created wreath, wreath pick up and creation will be in full swing! More great vendors will be inside, too.
Be on the lookout for St. Nicholas outside. Parents may take photos of their children with St. Nicholas for a donation.
At 11a.m. Larsen Field will welcome the ponies! Pony rides for the kids are free; donations appreciated. At 11a.m. our petting zoo opens!
We will wind down at 4p.m. and invite you to join us at 5:15p.m. Mass.

Advent Wreaths, Kits & Candles
Advent is a time of reflection, excitement, and hope as we anticipate the coming of Jesus. Our Advent kick-off celebration is a time of great joy and anticipation, and a time to experience this beautiful tradition with your family!
In October we will accept preorders for Advent wreath kits as well as fully decorated Advent wreaths. Both kits and complete wreaths are in limited supply, so we urge you to order early to ensure that this tradition will continue in your home to help your family prayerfully count down the weeks until the birth of our Savior on Christmas Day.
Decorated wreaths and wreath kits will be available for pickup in the auditorium on Saturday, Nov. 21, 11a.m. — 4p.m., during St. John the Evangelist’s Advent Market Celebration. Each completed Advent wreath will be unique, beautiful, and lovingly made just for you. Only 120 Advent wreath kits and 30 completed wreaths will be available for purchase.

Dessert Donations for Cake Walk
We are super excited to offer a Christmas Cakewalk again at our Advent Market Celebration. Dessert lovers of all ages enjoy this musical-chairs-like game, with the winner taking home a yummy cake or other sweet treat.
We are asking for donations of store-bought or homemade cakes, brownies, cupcakes or pies.
Anything homemade MUST include a full list of ingredients affixed to dessert. No containers will be returned, so if you're baking at home please use something disposable.
NON-ALLERGENIC Goodies - We are also looking for a selection of treats that don't contain one or more of common allergens, like gluten, nuts, etc. These items should be clearly marked so parents will know if it is safe for their child or person with an allergy.
DROP OFF: We will accept dessert drop offs on Saturday, Nov. 21 from 8a.m. - 12p.m. to the Cakewalk area on Larsen Field. Volunteers will be onsite to direct you!
