You Are Not Alone
“Whoever suffers from mental illness always bears God’s image and likeness” in themselves. - Pope Saint John Paul II
You have come to the right place! St. John the Evangelist offers a safe atmosphere, where you can feel accepted, respected and valued.
The St. Dymphna Prayer Group is for those affected by a mental illness, their caregivers and loved ones.
Please join us for prayer, lunch and fellowship on the Second Saturday of every other month from September 2025 through May 2026 at 11a.m. in the Parish Office Great Room. We kindly ask that you RSVP to sjemhaevent@gmail.com so that we can accurately prepare.
The USCCB promotes this novena to be prayed from Oct. 10 (World Mental Health Day) to Oct. 18 (Feast of St. Luke, patron saint of physicians).
If you need to confidentially speak to a counselor at anytime, please contact counseling@stjohns.org.
NEW! THIS FALL: We look forward to sharing videos, having speakers, and discussing Saint Dymphna’s Playbook with you. We hope to lessen the stigma by bringing awareness of mental health issues to the public. See the bulletin for more details as the time nears.
