Becoming Catholic

We are happy to announce a new Becoming Catholic preparation course here at St. John, which will start in late January and prepare adults to become Catholic later this summer.

Through this past Fall and into the Winter, adults have continued to inquire about becoming Catholic. In order to accommodate the increased numbers and varying schedules, we are excited to begin a new preparation course that will meet weekly on Tuesdays at 7p.m., beginning Jan. 27. The course will end with the celebration of the Sacraments of Initiation later this summer in July.

If you or someone you know has questions about the Catholic Church or feels called to become Catholic, we are here to help you explore Catholicism. 

Adults not yet baptized, baptized in another denomination, or baptized as Catholics but did not yet receive First Eucharist and/or Confirmation are welcome to attend. We would love to talk with you about becoming Catholic and walking this journey with you in a small-group setting.
