Spiritually Adopt a Baby This Month

Spiritual Adoption Program - Everyone loves the beauty and innocence of a baby. As an expression of that love, the Respect Life Ministry announces an adoption program for young and old alike. 

The members of St. John the Evangelist parish family will have the opportunity to ‘spiritually’ adopt a child who is newly conceived and who is in danger of abortion. You may ‘adopt’ a child individually or as a family by signing up and receiving a special prayer card, with a little prayer written by Archbishop Fulton Sheen, after Mass on Mother’s Day, May 10.

You will be asked to name the child for whom you will be praying, and continue the daily prayer for nine months. After the birth of our ‘spiritually’ adopted child, we will have a celebration of life.
