Support SVDP Thanksgiving Dinners

Hard to believe, but we’re gearing up for the holidays. Our St. Vincent de Paul Food Panty will provide Thanksgiving Dinner for at least 75 families this year. In order to do that, we need your help.

We don’t need pumpkin pie mix, green beans or cranberry sauce this year, but the following items are on our wish list:

  • stuffing mix;

  • macaroni and cheese mix;

  • instant mashed potatoes;

  • canned sweet corn;

  • canned sweet potatoes;

  • canned apple sauce/fruit;

  • canned gravy;

  • pancake mix and syrup;

  • brownie mix; and

  • cornbread mix.

Monetary donations or Giant or Safeway gift cards will help offset the cost of the turkey and perishable foods. We will also need several hundred reusable AND brown paper grocery shopping bags.

We always need our staple items, such as:

  • peanut butter;

  • jelly;

  • canned soup;

  • canned pasta;

  • spaghetti sauce;

  • pasta;

  • toothpaste;

  • deodorant;

  • shampoo;

  • conditioner; and

  • body wash.

We’re grateful for your help!

DROP OFF - Please drop off non-perishable food to the new location of the St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry (the blue barn at the Cypress Creek entrance) during open business hours, or put in the SVDP-marked bins in the Gathering Space. Please do not leave food unattended or outside the St. Vincent de Paul building.
