Are you over the age of 18 and received sacraments of Baptism, First Communion and Reconciliation, however not yet Confirmed? Small group sessions begin in September with Confirmation in October.

All St. John the Evangelist parish moms and their children, 7-years-old and younger, are invited to join us for an hour of fellowship and playtime.

All youth 14—17-years-old who would like to volunteer must participate in “Worthy of the Call.” This is the child protection program for youth required by the Archdiocese of Baltimore, and is required for all teens planning to volunteer at St. John the Evangelist.

Men of St. John the Evangelist, grow in prayer and fight the spiritual battle against temptation and sin. Following St. Francis of Assisi, who had a deep devotion to St. Michael the Archangel, we will pull back from distractions and focus on the things that matter most. Join us for our kick-off meeting at 7p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 12, in the meeting room in the Severna Park Library.

St. Vincent de Paul and the Grocery Outlet at 78 Mountain Road have teamed up for “Independence from Hunger” this July. Join us as we walk and pray for an outpouring of God’s love and strength into our Archdiocesan priests and seminarians in the midst of the Church’s novena to St. Jean-Marie Vianney, patron of parish priests. We begin in short prayer, usually pray the Rosary as we walk and then journey at our own pace in conversation or quietly the rest of the way.
