Fall Marriage Enrichment Series: When the Wine Runs Dry

When the wine ran short, the mother of Jesus said to him, “They have no wine.” 

Couples of St. John, have you ever experienced a dryness in your marriage? Are you failing to communicate? Does raising children exhaust you? Have you felt distracted from your spouse or do you just need a restart in your own relationship?

Join us on Saturday, Nov. 8, from 7—9p.m. in the Church as we begin this year’s Marriage Enrichment Series, When the Wine Runs Dry, and turn to Our Lord for his healing when the wine runs dry. 

The night will include praise and worship in front of the Blessed Sacrament and a short talk by Dcn. Mike Tine about “The Wine of Family Life.”

Future sessions, building on the the theme will be presented by the priests of our parish.

• Join us as we contemplate how struggles in our family life drain our martial intimacy and find ways we can turn to Our Lord for help and guidance.

• Learn how to view our own families and blessings and how to find ways to reconnect within your own relationship.

• Join other likeminded couples for an evening of music, praise and worship centered around healing and renewed hope in our marriages.

If you are inclined, please bring a photo of you and your family that will be placed next to our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament. Engaged and dating couples are encouraged to attend. Wine and cheese will be served afterwards.

The event is free, and childcare will be provided upon request.
