Movie Night – April 14 – “The Terri Schiavo Story” & “Crescendo”
“The Terri Schiavo Story” – This award-winning documentary is the story of a young brain-injured woman, whose family waged a long court battle to prevent their son-in-law from removing his wife’s feeding tube. March 31 marks the 18th anniversary of Terri’s death. This film follows the Schindler family’s emotional efforts to save her.
“Crescendo” – This short film has received 11 international film festival honors and recounts the true story of how one of the more famous people in history was nearly aborted. It communicates the incomparable worth of the human person across all ages and across all cultures. Maria van Beethoven chose life for her child, and he changed the world. Every child, no matter the circumstances of their conception or the difficulties that their parents face, has the potential to do the same.
