Movie Night – “The Passion of the Christ”
The Respect Life Ministry will show “The Passion of the Christ” on Thursday, March 7, at 7p.m. in the Gathering Space Meeting Room. In Christ’s crucifixion based on the New Testament, Judas expedites the downfall of Jesus by handing him over to the Roman Empire’s officials. To the horror of his mother Mary, Mary Magdalene, and his disciples, Jesus is condemned to death. He is tortured as he drags a crucifix to nearby Calvary, where he is nailed to the cross. A realistic depiction of the final 12 hours of Jesus Christ’s sacrificial crucifixion. Stars Jim Caviezel - Rated R – Not for children under 17. 126 minutes.
