Advent in Assisi – A Pilgrimage to the Walters Art Museum

On Sunday, Dec. 13, take a pilgrimage to the Walters Art Museum with Fr. Thomas O’Donnell for a tour of ancient, medieval, and renaissance art to prepare our hearts for Christmas and see the very book that converted Francis of Assisi.

Caravan departs St. John at 12:45p.m. or meet at the Walters at 1:45p.m.

Email Fr. Thomas at todonnell@stjohnsp.org to indicate interest and note whether you will leave from St. John or meet at the Walters.

The cost is free! (The Walters charges nothing but suggests $12 per person to cover their operational costs.)

Please note: The Jubilee Year of Saint Francis of Assisi runs from Jan. 10, 2026 - Jan. 10, 2027, marking the 800th anniversary of the death of Saint Francis of Assisi.
