We are so excited to begin this Faith Formation year with your family. Thank you for registering your child/children in our program. Classes begin Sunday, Oct. 1, and Wednesday, Oct. 4. We apologize for any inconvenience, but we are unable to refund any tuition payments or amounts due if your family withdraws from the program after Faith Formation classes begin Oct. 1. Please read the following information carefully concerning tuition and registration procedures.
Tuition Policy for 2023—2024
Tuition for parishioners who SUPPORT the parish monetarily through use of envelopes or online giving.
One child - $200
Two children - $260.00
Three or more children - $315.00
Tuition for parishioners who DO NOT SUPPORT the parish monetarily through use of envelopes or online giving.
One child - $265.00
Two children - $375.00
Three or more children - $485.00
Tuition payments are required at the time of registration.
GRANTS: Families experiencing financial hardship may be eligible for a confidential grant. Please email Ruth Gorski at rgorski@stjohnsp.org.
VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES FOR CHILDREN’S MINISTRY: Volunteering is a wonderful way to support the children of the parish by sharing your love of Christ and our Catholic faith. Volunteer options include: Small Group Leader, Small Group Assistant, or Children with Special Needs Group Assistant. If you are interested in volunteering, please email Ruth Gorski at rgorski@stjohnsp.org for more information and to obtain a volunteer code.
VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES FOR MIDDLE SCHOOL FAITH FORMATION: There are two key opportunities for volunteers for our Middle School program: Chaperones/Pizza help (for the first half hour each week; there will be a Sign Up for each week) and Small Group Leaders (this would be for the entire program). Chaperones enable us to provide pizza and fun at the beginning of each session while Small Group leaders help guide Middle Schoolers through small group discussions and activities. Peer Ministers (teens) are most welcome for both opportunities and earn service hours. You must be Virtus compliant (Worthy of the Call for teens) for both opportunities; now is a good time to get that completed. Contact Nancy Smith at nsmith@stjohnsp.org for assistance. LATE FEE: A late fee of $50 will automatically be added to any registration made after Oct. 1.
Registration Procedures
St. John Faith Formation is open to children of registered St. John parishioners. We recommend logging into the parish database using the email & phone number that you provided at the time of your parish registration or use your OnlineGiving credentials. A list of your children will appear, so that you do not have to reenter your contact information and address for each child.
