Parish Holy Land Pilgrimage with Fr. Erik Arnold
Join Fr. Erik for an unforgettable pilgrimage to the Holy Land this September 15-25, 2026, as we walk in the footsteps of Jesus.
We are excited to announce a St. John the Evangelist Parish Pilgrimage this fall. Our pilgrimage will take us to Galilee and Jerusalem, where we will visit and pray at the sites made holy by Jesus, in the very places where he preached, taught, and performed miracles. Highlights in Galilee include visits to Nazareth, the Mount of Beatitudes, the Sea of Galilee, Capernaum, where Jesus performed many of his miracles, Cana, and other holy sites.
Please note: This pilgrimage requires substantial walking in areas that are not accessible to walkers or wheelchairs. In many areas, especially Jerusalem, the streets are cobblestone. Because of the historic nature of many sites, there are often steep steps without elevator access. Before registering, interested parishioners must contact Fr. Erik to verify they are able to meet the demands of this pilgrimage. Please email church@stjohnsp.org to inquire!
Interested parishioners will receive a registration link from church@stjohnsp.org after they have confirmed they are physically able to walk long distances over unpaved or uneven surfaces like cobblestones and steep inclines and declines.

Our highlights include:
