Celebrate Pentecost

Beginning Friday, May 19, the Church enters into the great Novena of Pentecost. Gathered in prayer for nine days in Jerusalem after the Lord’s Ascension, the Church received the gift of the Holy Spirit on the tenth day, Pentecost Sunday. Please join us in this powerful time of intense prayer for the outpouring of the Holy Spirit! From May 19 to May 26, we will gather in the Church at 7p.m. for an hour of prayer, Adoration, intercession, and brief teaching on the Holy Spirit. Each night brings us into the Upper Room, where we will join the Apostles and our Blessed Mother, preparing for the outpouring of the Holy Spirit. Our final night of the Novena culminates on Saturday, May 27, at 7p.m. with the great extended Pentecost Vigil Mass. This outdoor Mass on Larsen Field follows the form given to us by the Church that mirrors the Easter Vigil with additional readings from Scripture and an extended time of prayer for the gift of the Holy Spirit. Please join us!
