Join us March 30 at 2p.m., for a moving presentation by Bill Wingard, a renowned Shroud of Turin expert and founder of “Shroud Talks.” A replica of the shroud will be displayed at St. John the Evangelist, Severna Park, in the Parish Activities Center.

Join us for peaceful prayer vigils at Planned Parenthood on Saturdays 7-11a.m. and Tuesdays 12-4p.m. Please consider praying for an hour during the campaign.

Following Christ is the next step for all those who have completed the Alpha or Discovering Christ courses at St. John. Building on what we experienced in the first course, Following Christ will help you grow in your daily relationship with Jesus. We are pleased to offer a fall Marriage Convalidation course for civilly married couples seeking a sacramental marriage. Group preparation sessions consist of three Tuesday classes – Oct. 7, Oct. 28 and Nov. 9, 7 - 9p.m., and a Convalidation ceremony on Sunday, Nov. 9 at 1:30p.m. Couples must attend all sessions.

Come prepare your heart to enter more deeply into the Season of Lent at this special Walking with Purpose sponsored event on Wednesday, Feb. 26 at 7p.m. in the Parish Activities Center. ALL women are welcome. Fr. John Bilenki will be our speaker.

Jesus I Trust in You-The Eucharistic Apostles of Divine Mercy are pleased to welcome Mother Superior, Sister Donata, of Our Lady of Mercy Sisters, presently in Washington, D.C., at the National Shrine of Saint John Paul II, to offer a half day of recollection at St. John the Evangelist Parish on Feb. 15.

Couples of St. John, join us on Friday, Feb. 7, from 7—9p.m. in the Parish Activities Center as we continue this year’s Marriage Enrichment Series and learn effective ways to pray as a married couple. The night will include praise and worship in front of the Blessed Sacrament and a short talk by parishioners Mark and Susan Oursler about intercessory prayer with a special emphasis on praying for our children.
